Abigail holds a BA in Geography from University College London, a graduate certificate in Psychology from University College London Institute of Education, and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham. She has also completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Literacy (NPQLL).
Abigail is a class teacher at La Fontaine Academy, where she has taught across the Key Stages, with a particular focus in Upper Key Stage 2, including year 6.
During her time at La Fontaine Academy, Abigail has developed and refined the geography and music curricula as well as leading phonics, co-leading the equality diversity and inclusion (EDI) team and leading the school’s inclusion development team. She supported the school through its latest Ofsted inspection and continues to uphold and promote high-quality, evidence-informed teaching and learning through mentoring. Across these roles, and with her work for the STEP Institute of Education, her focus remains on supporting educators, refining and implementing curriculum and ultimately improving outcomes for all children.
