Jo has built a successful career in administration, bringing 20 years of experience within the education sector. Throughout her career, she has held a range of key administrative roles, including serving as an Exams Officer in a secondary college and working within the administration team of a primary school. These positions have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the education landscape and the vital role that effective administrative support plays in ensuring schools operate smoothly and successfully.

She joined STEP Academy Trust in 2018 and has been an integral part of the STEP Ahead Teaching School Hub since its designation by the Department for Education in 2021.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach, Jo is a highly organised and dedicated professional. Her exceptional planning and organisational skills enable her to coordinate complex programmes, manage competing priorities, and ensure that processes run efficiently and effectively. She is committed to delivering a high standard of service and consistently strives to support colleagues and programme participants in achieving their goals.

As part of the STEP Institute of Education team, Jo takes great pride in supporting the development of educators and is committed to contributing to improved outcomes for children and young people across our Trust and beyond.
